I was able to find the userdata file in the SM-G950U Verizon firmware download, flash the Verizon firmware to the phone, and set up the Verizon Basic Visual Voicemail. Unfortunately, Verizon's system automatically blocked the advanced calling features I wanted, like video calling in the native phone app, since the phone was purchased from Samsung and not Verizon. Although I believe I have the correct firmware in place to support the advanced features and a Tier II support tech tried to remove the block she was unable to do so, so I may need to settle for a third-party video call app like Skype.
